Inspired by a neighbor’s accidental handgun discharge, our co-founder and lead engineer, Neil Oakshott, developed the Spartan Guardian™. He recognized the need for a system that ensures quick access to weapons while prioritizing safety. Neil partnered with behavioral scientists from a University in the Netherlands to address how stress impacts motor skills and cognitive function, highlighting issues with traditional gun safes. Together, they developed an innovative solution that combines rapid, secure access with enhanced safety features, designed to protect families and prevent unauthorized firearm use.
