The SPARTAN GUARDIAN, as crafted and sold by UDT, is to be used as a firearm storage safety system and is not to be used in homes or areas where untrained firearm persons and or children are present. It is also not intended to replace a regulatory gun safe and the SPARTAN GUARDIAN is not to be assumed as a firearm storage safety guarantee. 

The SPARTAN GUARDIAN does not meet the Regulatory Gun Safe Standards of the state of California. It is not listed or approved by UL (previously known as Underwriters Laboratory) or any other Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) as a Residential Security Container. 

By purchasing and/or using a SPARTAN GUARDIAN for firearm storage you indicate that you are in complete compliance with the applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations in your location, including but not limited to, the possession, ownership, use and storage of firearms. 

Other than as specifically stated in our product warranty, no express or implied warranty is made regarding the SPARTAN GUARDIAN and under no circumstances shall UDT be responsible for the use, misuse, alteration, adaptation, modification, or product malfunction of the SPARTAN GUARDIAN or for physical injury, death or damage to persons or property resulting from either intentional or accidental discharge of a firearm contained within any SPARTAN GUARDIAN or other firearm safety storage system product produced by UDT.

Under no circumstances shall UDT be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages whatsoever to property or life, arising out of Customer’s decision to keep firearms or other weaponry in UDT’s SPARTAN GUARDIAN. WARNING: storing weapons in the SPARTAN GUARDIAN is at the Customer’s risk. Furthermore, UDT does not make a foolproof firearm security system. No product sold by UDT is intended to serve as a substitute for a government-regulated gun safe. Should your state or country require a gun safe for gun storage, UDT makes no representation that the SPARTAN GUARDIAN meets your state’s gun safe requirements (See, e.g., California Penal Code Section 23650). Furthermore, locks are not failsafe and may fail for any reason. Any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damage to property or persons arising from the reliance on a locking mechanism is assumed by Customer and UDT shall not be liable for said failure.
